Launch into Phonics is a musical phonics program designed to motivate and encourage children to read through fun, exciting and interactive techniques.  The phonics program incorporates the use of multi-sensory teaching.  Students participating in this program learn to read in a non-traditional sense of using music and song.  Launch Into Phonics provides an opportunity for students to learn reading techniques by RAPPING, SINGING, and CHEERING through phonetic sounds.

 

This unique reading program is the first of its kind in the United States and internationally that places students in leveled phonics groups.  It is similar to placing students in leveled guided reading groups.   The entire class is divided into 4-5 small groups.  They are all divided according to their phonetic abilities.  Also, the students participate in individual reading time with the teacher, writing, and working with sounds and words.  The students play a game called "Word Detective" which encourages the students to search for words with the sounds that they are currently studying.   The goal is for the students to be able to become fluent and skilled readers. 

 

Parents can use this product with their child(ren), and it can also be used as center activities in the classroom.
